e² Young Engineers believes that education can be taught through play. Our Big Builders program introduces pre-school aged children to the world around us. This includes the beautiful animal kingdom, by understanding their features and uses, vehicles and more exciting topics. Our aim is to establish a connection between learning and fun at preschool age, setting our big builders for a successful future!

Our Big Builders construct 3D exciting, fun models using colorful flexible parts. Our students have the chance to use our exclusive Young Engineers kits. These activities will challenge participants and therefore advance their fine and gross motor skills. Big Builders exposes our students to basic engineering terminology. Through play and interaction with our big Builders, our students learn the importance of teamwork. Our program builds these little one’s confidence and the ability to discover and invent alone.

Overview of Big Builders curriculum

e² Young Engineers’ believes that education should be taught through play. We believe lessons are learned and absorbed through hands-on experiential learning. Our students complete the Big Builders enrichment programming having a better understanding of everyday mathematic and scientific concepts.

Our Big Builders lessons include discussions about various shapes, spatial recognition, moveable and non-moveable parts. Our instructors use math and science terminology, providing the students with the understanding of the subject. Builders learn simple addition and subtraction through building their models. Students also discover the basic principles of fractions as they learn how piecing the parts make up a whole.

We introduce the laws of physics on a basic level through our exciting demonstrations, e.g. centrifugal force, gravity, torque, stability, friction, momentum, mechanical energy, balance, compaction and drive. Our Big Builders models are centered around nature and animal themes, teaching the basic concepts of biology.
